The news came a few weeks after Diaz's recent foe, Conor McGregor, was granted a boxing license by the California Athletic Commission. I agree beating Brook elevates Spence regardless. He will make a splash in the UK market and capture a belt in the process if he can pull it off. Name fighters like Peterson and Porter have already expressed a willingness to fight Spence if he wins. Errol won't have trouble getting opponents or prime time PBC slots if he has that IBF strap.
