i think the argument regarding most champions faced. when you consider just how watered-down being a "champion" is, with multiple choices to choose from. it eliminates the impressiveness of the statement
especially when you consider when he fought some of them, and the stipulations (flashback to the maidana everlast mx incident...)
im sorry floyd, as a fan of boxing. its just not true.
he made money, set up big events and certainly is a historical boxing figure.

It's not hard to beat so many world champions in this era of boxing considering there's 17 odd weight classes and about 5 belts in each class. Look at the amount of bums/trash that have become world champions such as Judah, Baldomir, Berto, Ortiz etc. Nowadays it's a surprise if you haven't won a belt considering they're on sale everywhereComment
