You never know, style make fights and Charlo has been bullying smaller guys at 154 he will have to change his approach at 160 IMO.
He's OBVIOUSLY supposed to beat guys like Lemieux or Stevens as he's a better boxer than both but he could have some surprises, those guys are durable and would bring some power he hasn't met yet.
But with GGG, Jacobs, Canelo now fighting above 160 and big Charlo, 160 could end with the best top 4 of any division in the sport lol.
Who would you pick in a fight btw Charlo and Jacobs?
Against Jacobs, I'd take Charlo. I like Danny a lot because he's humble, with a great story, and he's fun to watch. He just strikes me as not being rugged enough for guys like GG and Charlo.Comment

Jermall should be a good addition to the division and my eye test tells me he should be ranked pretty high, but I'd like to see a bit more of him against capable opposition - beating Austin is an achievement, but not a great one in my book, and the jury is still out on how impressive KTFO of J-Rock was. Looking forward to seeing how the kid does.Comment

I don't smoke or drink bro, Charlo could easily be 3 weight champ, ffs rn he can fight BJS and dominate him or fight Murata/N'Dam winner and then move up and fight Groves for the WBA, it's not hard to be a multi weight champ for elite fighters, but I'm saying Charlo can beat all the top guys in 160 and 168Comment

This is great news for Canelo. Now G is going to have to man up and sign to fight Canelo, because if not he just might lose all his belts and glory to Charlo for a heck of a lot less than what Canelo's offered him.
Gotta give Jermall credit though, that's for sure. He fought Williams, and Williams is a beast but not a big name. He still knocked out J-Rock and then moved up. I think he wants a shot at G. Of course, that is assuming G beats Jacobs, which is no guarantee either.Comment

I'm so not used to the WBC doing anything even remotely useful that this excellent news feels weird. Like the Sulaimans are trying to groom us?

I'm not saying he can't, but that's a bold claim based on little information. Look I really like Jermall - my eyes tell me he's quality - but the guy just ain't done enough to suggest he dominates at 160, yet alone 168. Since when did Austin Trout become the yardstick for elite status?Comment
