Comments Thread For: Cuadras: Rungvisai 'Hits Hard,' Could Knock Out 'Chocolatito'

If you look at Srisaket Sor Rungvisai's resume, you wouldn't think he'd have too much of a chance to upset Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez next week. The Thai southpaw has a good record (41-4-1, 38 KOs), has won 83 percent of his bouts by knockout and once owned the WBC super flyweight title. But the contender's record has been padded largely against opponents who had losing records or were inexperienced compared to him.

Yo! they setting RG up for it. Rungvisai is lethal at the weight! now the WBC is mandating the rematch with Cuadras and if that dont work hes got to face Estrada to! its all top five back to back for the KING but we about to witness GREATNESS. Nobody in the game is facing these odds but its OK we got aces baby!

The so-called King is fighting Cuadras left-overs instead of Cuadras ?

I guess you didn't watch the fight ha? poor Cuadras was doing his best impression of 'La Gallina' Estrada running from Rungvisai before the doctors saved him from getting KO and thereby robbing him in Mexico being the champion.

What about giving Gonzalez credit for defending against Rungvisai whos currently top five ( and been there since 2011) considering Cuadras never gave the former champion and former mandatory a rematch?

Easy work for Chocolatito, Rungvisai doesn't put his punches together. I can't see Gonzalez getting beat by a head hunter with poor defense.

Didn't even look like he got any real leverage behind that punch, drilled those knuckles right under that cage though.

I think Choclatito will probably be more appreciated after he retires. He doesn't seem to get his just desserts for a number 1 pound for pound.

I never understood why anyone would have this guy at the top of the p4p list anyway so part of me is ready for him to take a L for that reason.

He's a very good little fighter but top 5 p4p he is not...
