I expect a cautious fight from GGG just like he did against Lemieux. Once he lays enough on Jacobs to "wear" him down, he'll go for the kill, but it's going to be precise, no wasted punches type of break down. Wasted punches can mean a counter opportunity for Jacobs which they don't want to test how hard Jacobs hits back on a counter shot.

Jacobs is the faster fighter and has longer reach!
He needs to counter Golovkin's jab immediately, get GGG's respect very early and often!Comment

That's the main conundrum about this fight. Jacobs is fast, powerful and has a significant reach advantage. He's also the younger guy, though who knows if that will even be a factor. But I'm trying to imagine how Golovkin is going to out jab a very good fighter who has the physical advantages. I'm having a hard time picturing it, but it will be fascinating to see if GGG can do that. I have some serious doubts about it though.Comment

Here we go again! Another of GGG opponents who the media insist is the toughest most dangerous challenge GGG has ever faced. How many times! Look Jacobs is a good fighter and can punch so you can never say he has no chance but all the rheteric is just that. Smart money is on GGG for a reason and in the end Jacobs will land and GGG will still vbe there whereas when GGG lands Jacobs will not be so lucky.Comment
