The punishment for drink driving should be more than 6 months. No one would tolerate someone throwing bricks into a crowded area but they can't seem to realise how dangerous it is driving a heavy piece of machinery when wasted.

Oscar is gonna have to go to AA and take alcohol abuse classes now, would be halarious to hear his story of how he became a alcoholic after making millions.

Is this his first DUI?

If it is, it should be a misdemeanor, but he should have some serious sanctions still.

DUI's are serious, and people are killed everyday from drunk drivers.

If it's his second, it should be a felony, and he should get some jail-time. 90 days would be a place to start.

Yeah you don't go to prison for dui unless it's like your third time, and you don't have to do community service if you chose to just pay like a 2k fine.

In VA, you get 2 DUI's within a 10 year period.......FELONY. If you get pulled and blow higher than a 0.10, you get like 5 days in jail immediately, don't pass go, no bail. If you get pulled and blow above a 0.15, you get like 10 days in jail right then as well. If you get pulled and refuse to submit to a breathalizer test, you automatically lose your license for a year and you could serve jail time. I got one a long time ago and it cost me $6,000 before everything was all said and done. No jail time though, luckily.
