It's a sad part about boxing. Young prime undefeated fighters fighting 41 yr olds, and known mediocre fighters with loses. Brook vs Spence should have happened right after the Algieri fight. As it is, Spence is basically fighting a 3G left over. It's compounded by these ****** organizations having no ability to make adjustments with their so-called mandatories. Why would you prefer Bundu over Brook? It's a senseless use of time and money as if fighters have long shelf lives.

I actually have him still as favourite slightly. But even I'm not afraid to say that what happened with 3g n the weight thing could affect him in his future match up. But TBH that's on him. He chose to do that knowing full well he had a mandatory IBF defence with Spence.

yeah, weights not gonna help but has had plenty of time to lose it, even if brooks 90 percent of what he was, then thats a great win for spence in my opinion still. But if that eye starts swelling straight away, i know it wont be spences fault, but i cant really attribute that win being down to spences skills. Hopefully it isnt a factor, want to see a great fight, should hopefully get tickets for it when they come out.

ah i just answered in the post above. I will give him full credit if he wins, theres a real basis to hype him if he does a number on brook. hes not a 40 year old euro level fighter or a feather fisted kickboxer.

I'm a Spence fan, believe in the hype, and wish him a long, successful career. However, beating Brook wouldn't make him the best thing ever. He needs to do a lot more. I don't believe Brook is that special or great. All I see is a good fighter, nothing special at all about Brook. It would be a good win for Spence, nevertheless, as a young upcoming boxer striving to make a name for himself.

I'm more curious about what Spence can achieve going forward in the welterweight division and above.
