Im not really familiar with exact rules or even if there is a precedent set for this situation. I cant recall a time off the top of my head where they couldnt find anyone to fight someone for a mandatory spot. Seems like a simple solution, though. Ill be in New York with Mark Ramsay on Saturday and will see whats happening with it. Artur wont stop training , though, of course...staying on schedule with the assumption something new will come of this very soo

This article is a joke. Kovalev refused the eliminator right now because he's tied up with the Ward rematch, but Kovalev is the one who offered Beterbiev a fight last year as his tune-up for Ward, and Beterbiev turned down a fair offer.

62k may not be much but its still more than the 45k he would have made if Duva had won the bid with her pathetic 181k offer.

I'll have to take this with a grain of salt considering the article was written by "Team Beterbiev". Always two sides to a story. If his payout was really 62k, that's disrespectful and I don't blame Sulli. Same people trying to defend this are the same ones that argue against the payout Canelo offered GGG haha.. the hypocrisy smh

Kovalev isn't tied up to anything... Ward is .. He could have had a free trip to the IBF Belt facing Beterbiev, and go from there instead of crying for 3 months.. According to GYM they were offered the fight though declined fast on the Ward rematch technicality ...

Artur Beterbiev is nobody's first pick to fight. He's dead last because it appears that he is a real threat to the division. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSzhWiz0fRU
