BrometheusBob, I'm gonna change my pick, it's too early to put all the trust in that fortune teller. If she's right I won't doubt her next prediction about Brook and Spence. Golovkin by KO in mid rounds (5-8)

So far 3 of my 4 predictions were right
If it wasn't for the old lady, I would even use the mutliplier

Golovkin KO mid rounds. I'm probably gonna get it wrong like I did with Lemieux and he'll blast him out early but I'm guessing Danny won't be too wreckless.

        You got it.

They do stack, so a 3X on Jacobs would be worth 90-180 if he finishes above 10% and 105-270 if he finishes below 10%. It's a big gamble though, you may end up burning a 3X for nothing.

But actually though, since I've drastically lowered the number of choices, I should lower the perfect pick bonuses as well. I think lowering them from 2-3X to 1.75-2X would be more reasonable.

So now that I've modified the bonuses, a 3X on Jacobs will be worth anything from 90-162 if he finishes between 10-25% of picks, and 105-180 if he finishes below 10%.

Right now Jacobs is at a gentleman's 10.6%

What do I get for picking close decision 1x and actually getting it right? Since there's only 1 pick for that which is Damn Wicked.

Without multipliers or bonuses the max you can get for a pick is 30.

That comes from: 20 for correct fighter, 5 for correct method (KO or decision), and 5 for correct detail (1-4/5-8/9-12 or Close/Wide).

A bonus will almost definitely be in play for Jacobs, which will make the payouts 1.5 to 2 times as much for him.

The perfect pick bonuses I was referring to in earlier posts apply only when the fighter is picked by less than 25% of people who made picks for that fight.

Oh it goes by fighter and not the actual popularity of the pick (if it goes for the more popular fighter)?

I'll most likely stick to GGG close dec. I was just curious.

                    Yep, that's correct.
