It makes more sense to me to stage Flanigan VS Easter & Garcia VS Lineres/Crolla maybe on a massive card in the late Summer.Comment

He did. He's trying to build a relationship with him. Show me one link where he says he signed with Haymon. Jason Shaw gets sonned againComment

HE DOESNT HAVE TO SAY IT YOUR MENTAL MIDGET.... IF YOU ARE FIGHTING ON PBC CARDS AND GETTING PAID BY PBC YOU ARE A HAYMON FIGHTER..... THE NEXT FIGHT WILL ALSO BE NEGOTIATED BY HAYMON.... ITS OK JUST LET IT GO

""(Adviser) Al [Haymon], Stephen and Lou worked out this fight for me almost as ... a trial type of work," Garcia said, adding that he has no deals with anyone beyond the July 30 bout. "Stephen and I have talked in the past. He really wants me to be part of the Showtime network, and Al has a lot of fighters that I would love to fight, and I won't have access to those fighters if I don't do business with them."

Seems like it's by a fight by fight basis cause Garcia doesn't want to be shut out of a Crawford matchup.Last edited by Blackclouds; 03-09-2017, 11:02 AM.Comment

I know Mikey and his brother Robert personally since we're all from Oxnard. And NO he isn't signed with Haymon. He is still a free agent and even though he has dealt with Haymon, its more Espinoza and Showtime who he's working with.Comment

Mikey will hide out at 135 against soft opposition until one of two things happen--Loma moves up to 135, or Crawford moves up to 147. That's when Mikey will escape to 140 to whip up on some more journeymen. Mikey likes having a size advantage, that is Robert Garcia's M.O. of training boxers--drain them down two weight classes and them blow them up on the day of the fight with a 15 pound weight advantage. No way will he ever fight Loma or Crawford.Comment
