Unfortunately there's testimony by Roach and Ariza that Manny and Arum didn't want to do random blood testing, which was a huge fault from their part.

Floyd used multiple excuses to wait Manny out--he has to submit to random testing, he has to leave Bob Arum, he has to fight fighters X, Y, and Z first, he has to accept what amounts to 10% of the purse, and several more. Back when Pac agreed to testing a few years prior to their fight he went silent. Each time Pac called his bluff he went silent until he realized Pac was past his prime. This is the Mayweather formula, which is flash before substance.

Ironically it was Floyd caught with an illegal IV (cheating), not Pac.
You must be new around here...

Floyd was a golden gloves champ in three weight divisions. There won't be an American pedigree like Floyd for a LONG time. The Mayweather''s need no introduction with their Midwest techniques and contribution to the game.

But the theories are always fun to talk about. Toradol abuse Pac took the next level, and salt water mystical healing aside from getting KTFO 3 times!

          No. They take half.

Assuming everything left goes to the fighters, $15m makes it a 68/32 split in Canelo's favour. And that's assuming the fight does fantastically well.

Explain how that's a bad deal.

I reckon every fighter who avoided Wlad would have been turning down at least 5x their highest payday - as well as an opportunity to win a belt.
He was willing to throw a decent chunk of change at lots of guys but found it really hard to get anyone willing to step up.

The thing is though that you have just changed the goalposts. You aren't talking about just a career high payday anymore. You are now talking about a 5x highest payday. You are adding in extra clauses and caveats that have nothing to do with my commentary.

So let's pretend that we were talking about whether someone should just accept a fight automatically because it was 5x their highest payday.
The answer is obviously no, not automatically. It would depend on the context.

Yes I know you post like this is because you are trolling, and I know that you loathe GGG for some weird reason.

It is a shame to see people like yourself who don't even like boxing, but prefer stories of 'goodies' and 'baddies' instead. Perhaps you should swap your interests to professional wrestling instead?

No they don't take half, so you can keep your math and I'll keep mine. Canelo doesn't deserve a 70/30 split. GGG is under no pressure to fight him, but Canelo is the one whose legacy is at stake if he continues to find ways to avoid him. Now that he is fighting Chavez at 165lbs, he is out of excuses. Only way out is to price himself out.

We've got people who don't know wtf they're talking about crying.

Read this and educate yourself before you embarrass yourself more than you have already.

The truth is $15m is a fantastic offer, and from any reasonable standpoint, GGG doesn't seem to want the fight.
