That's not how it works fighting in someone's (adopted) backyard, Keith...that MAY work on neutral ground. Brooklyn is Danny Garcia territory. It's why he lost on one scorecard. Fight on someone's turf, either knock them out, or beat the hell out of them for the ENTIRE 10-12 rounds. Do not take the "championship rounds" off, you're risking a robbery.

I disagree because I think next time Garcia let his hands go. I just can't picture him getting in there and being that timid again knowing that basically his career is on the line.

Maybe it may not be the best career choice for Danny to risks losing to Thurman again so quickly but obviously Danny knows what he did wrong otherwise he would just go back to the drawing board.

In the end I think Danny realizes that Thurman isn't all that good or strong...from what I saw it seemed like Danny was clearly stronger but Thurman was just a lot faster on his feet. So what should Danny do? Walk him down and throw stop worrying and thinking so much

Danny needs to re think strategy for the 2nd part of his career. Needs to develop more of an offensive gameplan. I would hold off on a rematch for now and fight at least 2 top ten opponents that will chalkenge him to box more. If he can be successful then Thurman will be available again or at least a title shot with someone else. I don't think Thurman will be champ for long.

I hope you realize Thurman himself was the reason why Garcia did not let his hands go.

Thurman won easy, 9-3 or 8-4. Move on, or only fight DSG as a stay busy fight in mid year, because DSG is still a better fight than any WBA mando, then fight Brook-Thurman at end of year, unless he's mandated to fight some bum which he'd have no choice but to fulfill that.

Why hasn't WBC/WBA updated their rankings? DSG is still champ and Khan is still #1 ranked WBC, Bradley has been inactive for 12 months as still #2 ranked WBC and #5 ranked Ring. I see in WBA Avenesyan is the regular champ which he has already been beaten by Peterson, Kiram is #1, Peterson is #2. WBA/WBC are slacking with the updates.

Danny said himself he could of did more. Keith was running a lot and he didn't want to get caught reaching.

But like I said late n the fight and after the fight I think Garcia realized Thurman wasn't all that strong and he could of let them thangs go a little more because he was never seriously hurt by Thurman.

I expect to see more of the killer Danny in the rematch like he was with Matthyese. To me it seemed he tried to box with Thurman and with Matthyese he actually tried to hurt him and didn't care so much about boxing...

I think by Garcia being so timid he allowed Thurman to think about his next move. Which is why Danny won the last few rounds he was no longer giving Thurman time to think.. had he done that earlier in the fight like I said Danny wins relatively easily If not hurts Thurman...

If your not fighting full time at 147 by age 30 then clearly you don't belong. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be interesting to see but still don't make him a welter. Bud has always been tall and small...

People forget these guys like Spence, Thurman, Porter, Brook were either already welterweights or had to work themselves down to welterweight. I wouldnt expect bud to look good against someone who's always been naturally bigger and stronger than him... people forget Gamboa rocked him..
So TC stays at 140 the rest of his career?

Once again, Thurman was the one who made him timid. You serious Garcia realizes Thurman "isn't all that strong" but didn't throw **** all fight long? Danny was a "killer" vs Matthysse cause Matthysse was smaller and does not move like Thurman does. Where was this killer vs Peterson? I think you need to watch Garcia a little more and realize the pattern.

Thurman landed 17 more punches and Danny was more accurate by over 5% That wasn't easy.
