17 weight classes! Talent wise, where do you rank the WW division?

I dont understand why the welters get so much attention. I honestly think the best talents in boxing are in the feather weights (122-130 divisions) Hell even the cruiserweight division has crapped all over boxing premier division (heavyweight division) as far as talent the passed few years.

So my question is, why so much glamour over the WW's? Is it talent or just nutthuggery?

Most new fans started watching boxing because of Mayweather and Pacquiao and they were big at 147

What happened to Vargas () and Swift being the best welters?

When it comes to excitement it is still welter and heavy that gets the most ink.

Hell, Super-middle and Lt Heavy get more shine than featherweight right now.

As far as talent, I don't think any division comes close to 147 right now.

Even with Floyd gone and Pac going, they still go about 10-12 guys deep.

I honestly think it's garbage. Actually one of the worst divisions in boxing. Maybe even worst than middleweight (can't believe I just said that).

Always been one of my favorite divisions. Still is.

Very overrated. Talent wise i put it below 130 154 175 126 and probably 160 now since canelo and jermall just joined the division.

Super feather and super flyweight are the best right now, I'd say

For the first time in a while when I skim over all of the divisional rankings I see more good divisions than bad ones. Flyweight, super bantam, junior welter and super middle are the only really bad ones (bantam is on the verge of coming alive)

Welter is probably right in the middle

I disagree with ya. WW has some solid talent. There are legitimately 3 different people that can stake the claim to being #1 WW in the world right now. Division is loaded with talent, we just need 1 person to rise to the top. As soon as that happens it will be labeled weak.

When talking top 10, the division is outstanding. It is a very deep division, possibly the deepest division in boxing, but when talking top tier talent, like top 3-5 guys. I would say it would be behind 115 and 175 with certainty and a case could be made for a couple more divisions. I would say it falls somewhere between the 3rd and the 5th best division.
