Comments Thread For: Isaac Lowe's Trainer Believes Dennis Ceylan Made Big Mistake

Isaac Lowe's (13-0-1, 5 KOs) coach Jimmy Harrington believes Dennis Ceylan (18-0-1, 8 KOs) has made a big mistake in agreeing to face the British boxer in a voluntary defence of his European Featherweight title on March 18 at the Ceres Arena in Aarhus, Denmark.

Isaac Lowe can either announce himself on the European stage or he proves himself to be another loud mouth ***** riding Tyson Fury's coat-tails. The drama during filming promos last month was unnecassary and showed a lot of immaturity in Isaac. The main problem in this fight is that he appears to be a powder puff puncher. It's never easy winning a decision abroad against a hometown champion. This fight with Dennis Ceylan pits Boxrec's #7 in Europe versus the #14 in Europe for the top European title.

The Featherweight division is stacked with domestic opposition so there are many fights out there for Isaac. A win here and he could move on to a unification against British champion Ryan Walsh, a man who lost to Ceylan in his last fight. Lowe already held the Commonwealth title but I'm not sure if he's vacated that now. Always looks good seeing a boxer holding all three of the British, Commonwealth and European titles. It's a big ask but a win here will lead to much better opportunities and prospects.
