Seems a bit irresponsible when the guy is due for a hearing.
It's mad that DUCO aren't doing everything in their power to ensure Fury is thoroughly tested, for the maximum amount of time.

They're either really naive or Peter Fury/Frank Warren are playing hardball. Probably a combination of both. That funny business when Fury wouldn't sign till the last minute was a pretty clear sign that they're getting mucked around. Honestly, I would've dropped the fight when that crap happened.

Really though, they won the purse bid, they should set the rules.

Also, it's insane that the UKAD hearing is now happening AFTER the fight. Are Duco ok with Fury fighting a fighter who hasn't had his trial for a test from 2 years ago? It's rankly ridiculous.

The whole thing stinks, absolutely stinks. This is a clear sign that despite having the Champ in their camp, and winning the purse bid, DUCO have no idea how to use leverage and negotiate effectively. People have suspected for a while that once Parker got a strap, DUCO would be out of their depth, and it's showing.

I can't fathom how they are allowing this crap to happen - it's not like Hughie is a massive draw that would balance out risk-reward.

If there are consequences down the road for Hughie's drug abuse, DUCO are going to look double-******.

Definitely, they're small fry. As much as I dislike Bob Arum, I think Parker needs to turn this "promoter split" deal between DUCO and TR, and just go with TR full time. A senile, blind Bob Arum is still going to do more than DUCO can.
