I still think that the Bradley-Pacquiao robbery is a blessing in disguise for Bradley

I scored the fight a draw. Not only did it give him money, but it boosted his career because of the controversy. Had he been beaten by Pac, it was back to the regular 300,000-500,000 fights. But it didn't for Bradley, it gave him 15 million plus more from the fights from Marquez and Pac trilogy, got him to fight good opposition and got him an elected spot for being a future HOF and got him to gain so many fans after seeing him went through because of it and he didn't back down from it. It literally gave him more than one would expected for.

Because of that contraversy, it gave Bradley every bit of oppurtunity to the fans to show him what he is made of, and he did, and gained a fan from me and so many others.

Great post and I agree. But, now its time for Tim to challenge himself once again and fight some of these top welterweights. A fight with Thurman, Porter, Brooks, Garcia, Spence, and Khan are all great fights that could take Tim into legendary status. He fell slightly short of becoming an elite A class fighter in the category of Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Cotto. Although I do consider him an elite fighter, it would take wins over at least 3 of these top welterweights to be considered A class and go down as an all time great. I think he has lost some of the fire that made him who he is. He now mentions retirement instead of furthering a bigger legacy by calling out Thurman, Crawford, Brooks, etc. Either way, yes the 1st Pac fight took Tim into an orbit he would have never found without Manny. And because his wins over Manny and Marquez, he has put himself atop of the welterweight division where he could finally claim as his. But to do so, he must fight a few of the young lions who are dying to claim the throne of 147lb king.

That's why Bob Arum is a master promoter. Controversy sells.
