As BoxingScene.com previously reported a few days ago, TGB Promotions won the WBC's purse bid to secure the promotional rights to the Anthony Dirrell vs. Callum Smith super middleweight title fight. TGB Promotions appeared on behalf of Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions and threw down a very large amount, $1.6 million, to bring that contest to the United States.

Another euro-hype job about to be exposed. TRUST. Like I been telling you and its proven a Brit winning a WBC world title IN AMERICA is almost impossible you have better luck hunting for Unicorns.

He is a hype job, its joe gallagher, he's a b level trainer who trains stiff robots. I'd like dirrell to win but he isnt very good, he got hustled by jack and he kind of has a weak look about him where I doubt he could take a heavy punch.......smith needs to not back off, this is the perfect style for a gallagher fighter, to come forward and absorb and wear the other guy down, thats the only style he teaches. lol.

I'm confident in saying that Callum Smith will take over this division, he's too big and skilled for these boys. Trust me, it's happening

Smith has loads of attributes but there's something missing. His slight stiffness could be his undoing. He could be one of those guys whose power disappears when he steps up a grade. At 6' 3 he's surely destined for light heavyweight.

Maybe, but I remember when Carl Froch was in a similar position early in his career. He was good, but he didn't look great. The step up in competition brought it out.

Dirrell has the kind of power that could be a truth-test for Callum Smith.
