Yeah. I'm a Brook fan and there will be no excuses from me even if he lost

If he chooses to fight at 147 then he must feel he can do the weight well enough to be at this best come fight night. So there should be no excuses. If a fighter commits to a weight that he knows he struggles with and it's a problem, then it's his own fault because the fight begins in the preparation, not just in the ring.

At the end of the day, nobody is holding a gun to his head and making him fight at 147. It was his choice, so no excuses.

I suspect Brook is going to find an excuse to pull out of this fight.

            - Hagler only had one notable opponent before Minter (Antuofermo, a fight he was felt to win easily but judges gave it a draw)/Spence only has one notable name on resume Algieri (who showed he was equal to Khan, but got blown out by Spence)

            - Brook slight bookie favourite/Minter slight bookie favourite

            - showdown in the UK

For me, the analogy ends the same way - Spence dominates Brook and we all wonder why we thought Brook was so good in the first place.
Spence is the betting favorite -135, brook is +105

Brook is going to use the weight drain excuse "IF" he doesn't win this fight. I mean most boxers squeeze down to have a weight advantage over their opponents Canelo, Charlo, Crawford was 154 when he fought Gamboa at 135, Danny Garcia did at 140, Andre Ward, Shawn Porter does. It's rare for fighters to fight at their walk around weight like Manny and Floyd did.

Funny how so many people are already putting words in Brook's mouth and saying he will pull out. The same folks who claimed he'd never sign on to face the invincible Spence. Your also not giving him any credit for fighting Spence.

Give him a chance, just sit back and enjoy the buildup and the fight. I'm sure if Brook wins you lot will have way more excuses than what Kell would have. In fact I already see blaming the ref's, the fan's, the judge's. What next? The time zone? The weather? Brook being better than he was supposed to be?

Special K will school Spencer and give him a chocolate brownie of a right hand and make him taste the canvass for all his squabble!

When he knocks out the hypejob Spence, the only truth will be that his fans will be exiting left and right just like when Pacquiao lost to Floyd!
