I'm Not saying they have the same skill level. I'm saying Thurman would get dropped like Kirkland. Thurmans not with standing canelos power. PERIOD. he respected Danny's after he felt it. Canelo sleeps him. To big, to fast, to strong.

He would cut thurman in half to the body. Thurman doesn't move as well as Khan and Canelo was able to time and slow him down. And Khan while having a weak chin takes a body shot better then Thurman does and you saw the effect of those body shots on Khan by round 5 he was moving really bad. Thurman poses no threat to Canelo, he ain't even getting passed Spence who will also punish Thurman to the body if he runs.
This is exactly is how a Thurman vs Canelo fought would play out

        No WW is beating Canelo.

Canelo is a much better boxer than Thurman as well as being much bigger. He was able to track down a guy like Lara who is better, faster and bigger than Thurman.

Canelo would have a major size advantage over Thurman which is Canelo's bread and butter. If he didnt hurt Danny with his best punch he won't hurt Canelo and Canelo's a MUCH better and harder hitting counter puncher than Danny is.

Mayweather said Alvarez vs Spence is a big future fight. Which means Spence at 160 as a bottleneck. Alvarez knocks out Spence below 154. Not sure Alvarez can make 154 any more

Lol, Canelo by KO, not even close. Canelo is far too big and too strong. Thurman hardly took all these body punches from Collazo, just imagine what would Canelo do to him. Thurman is to small for fight big 154-160 guys.
