  • Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew, Jibed By Dillian Whyte, Has One More Night Left

Tony Bellew has been labelled a 'fake heavyweight' by WBC International champion Dillian Whyte following his victory over David Haye. WBC cruiserweight king Bellew, 34, retired former WBA heavyweight champion Haye inside 11 rounds at the O2 Arena on Saturday.

Bellew will be a ppv entity versus anyone of the champs at the weight I don't see them selling him against just anyone, why not get Parker over for a share of the spoils it showcased Parker and I'm sure Bellew actually believes he can be competitive at the highest level now not that i do personally but he deserves one more big fight on the back of getting the win, dude survived well before Haye was injured I was surprised he lasted as long as he did before Haye's leg gave out.

His fitness is shocking and if anything he looked exceptionally crude in his actual abilities and technique but I guess he was never gonna be able to stand there trade and exchange with a guy with dinamite in both hands, he'll Parker can punch as hard if not harder and throws combinations set up off of the jab which really spells trouble for Bellew but as I said the guy deserves another ppv, plus it markets Parker for a future unification against Ortiz or potentially Joshua if he somehow manages to beat Klitschko.

I feel bad for Bellew. He clearly lacks power at HW and he's good name with good momentum. The sharks are circling him. I just hope he doesn't get himself seriously hurt.

Bellew doesn't have the punching power to succeed in the HW division. Most of his punches were bouncing off David's head.

Wasn't long was it before Dillian wanted in on some on that PPV money. Don't think Bellew will bite though, He's got bigger fights on the table.

I would like to see this, two hot heads would make for a fun build up and Whyte isn't a giant heavyweight like Joshua or Wilder so it could be an interesting fight.

              Bellew should fight Whyte

Bellew doesn't need Whyte. As much as I like Whyte as a fighter, there are other fish for him to fry, and same for Bellew. Of course, Bellew may retire, so who knows what happens next.
