I say if Tszyu is mentally and physically ready then he should give it one more fight, against Hatton, and not with a English ref; it would also have to be at 147 so that Kostya wouldn't have to struggle to make weight.

If he loses, call it a career; even if he loses, it will not hurt his career any more than what people think of him now, a
"Quitter"...if he wins, would look very good

i think that tszyu would beat the winner of gatti/baldomir and do better against hatton at 147, i'm not sure who would win though. he would also destroy margarito and judah but the thing is he's getting up there in age. i would love to see him in one last bout to go out on a better note, but if his heart isn't in it then i'd prefer him to retire with his health.

Tszyu's problem wasn't so much about age, it was inactivity, and trying to continue making 140lbs. With his weight depleted, his trouble making weight, his sweat pouring as he walked down to the ring, it was not a good sign;' his strength was depleted in that fight, and that is why he said he felt "Flat".
He also didn't appear to have that same hunger leading up to the Hatton fight like he did against Mitchell, so the mental edge was not in his favor.

That said, I do think he was on the decline since he didn't look that great against Leija, so he was on the decline, though he did bust Jessie's ear drum to win by TKO

The problem is still the result of that Hatton fight, he took a beating over those rounds; especially late in the rounds when he was getting tagged with big punches with his mouth wide open from exhaustion.

Hatton V Tszyu would have been winnable a couple of years ago for Kostya, but not anymore. If he wants a farewell fight it should be against Gatti/Baldomir winner as that's a winnable fight for him.

Very doubtful that you'll ever see Tszyu box again. He seems happy dancing in Australia in some show . 36/37, nah, he could call it a day.
