Pac uses far more creative angles and clearly has the volume advantage with an average of 69 punches per round vs 47 for Thurman. But Pac is aging and if he is going to fight Thurman and Brook/Spence winner, he needs to do it before he slows down too much. As for Garcia, Pac would win by a very comfortable margin.
Ya but a fighter's punching volume goes down significantly against a guy who moves around a lot in the ring, we saw this happen to Pacquiao when he fought Mayweather recently and no doubt his voluime would go down against Thurman too (though not as much as it did with May I presume).

But then proportionally, Thurmans output would go down because he would be trying to defend against punches from different angles. I guarantee Pac would have the edge in volume, and Pac would cut off the ring and work him over. Garcia couldnt cut off the ring if his life depended on it and Porter comes in a straight line with no angles like Pac.

Pac is not good at cutting the ring off either though. In fact, it is his one blatant weakness.

He can against Thurman because Thurman willingly backs up and Pac is much faster on his feet than Garcia is and if Guerrero and Collazo could, Pac will have no problem if he chooses that type of pressure.
