Comments Thread For: Haye: I Didn't Expect Bellew's Durable Chin, I Want Rematch

Not surprising!! Haye is a carnival huckster. At least this time he didn't run like he did against Klitchko. Can he just go away now

Hate has never been given chance too avenge loss.
So deserves rematch. After all, hate didn't need to give belles a fight.
But hate had false sense of his own power maybe. Audkey and enzo never had best chins. Chisora was good ko though

Bellew isn't getting much credit but i bet those discrediting his win didn't even think he would last until the point where Haye got injured. I didn't think he would, but he did.

I know it's a crap thing to say, but I don't think you give him the rematch. I realize there's a buildup to a fight, but telling a man you're going to take him away from his family (and that you're serious) and all of the garbage things he was saying, I think you let it be a life lesson to him. Bellew can have one big money fight coming off this win without Haye. You can't say the things you said then act all somber like it never happened. Bottom line: Bellew no longer needs Haye. That being said, if he popped his achilles, he'll never bounce back from that. (Kobe Bryant due to work ethic is the only achilles pop unicorn I've ever seen. It's so rare and Haye doesn't have the work ethic or year round conditioning). Even if it's not the achilles, he won't be able to fight after whatever injury he has for 9 months to a year probably at the rate he heals. He's just in the heat of the moment making his usual outlandish wish list. I was impressed with Bellew's chin. Wasn't an ideal fight, but I'm so glad he got the 'W'. I think he should leave Wilder alone though, unless that's his retirement fight. And you're not really making much fighting Wilder yet, especially for the risk involved.

Tony needs to move on for bigger and better things... a rematch would only hurt him win or lose...
