Haye did show serious heart but any decent HW would've finished him right there. Bellew for whatever reason had serious problem to finish a handicapped fighter.

But tonight Haye proved his world class toughness fighting on 1 leg for 7 rounds and giving a top level performance of courage and guts. Bellew was extremely lucky with Haye being injured and if I'm his advisor I demand he avoids a rematch. A healthy Haye is still better than 99% of hws out there.
Haye has accomplished more at heavy than Tua and Briggs combined lol Brigg is a joke who is still dining off a freak scoring incident that occurred 20 damn years ago.

        Cmon man

Regarding this thread, Haye would actually have to be a top HW to be the toughest top HW

I had Haye winning 4-1 before the injury and honestly I was thinking to myself he'd be by far the best guy Wilder ever fought if they matched up. Unfortunate injury but he showed tons of heart to hang in there and didn't even mention the injury in the ring after the fight. They should do it again in Bellew home town and make some more cash.
