To me it depends on whether Haye really did bring that injury into the fight. If not, Bellew's got every right to claim his victory imo.

Looking back at Haye's wild punching in the first couple of rounds I think he was already injured and was trying to end it quick.

Injury was there from the opening bell. David Haye was edging it until the achilles was aggravated further and then there was no chance. Laughable that he was able to keep it competetive for so long.

Yes, the win is legit. I'm not saying he beats the David Haye that fought Klitschko but tonight Bellew won that fight legitimately. Haye isn't the fighter that he used to be.

No but it's unfair to totally discredit Bellew. How many really thought he'd still be in there at the point where Haye got injured? not many at all, i know i didn't.

Haye was unfortunate but lets not act like he was looking good before the injury. He may have had enough to beat Bellew but he looks completely shot.

His shoulder issues he got operated on were genuine. He can't really extend that right hand anymore, and that was his bread and butter.

Of course it was. Injuries happen. Wasn't like he slipped on a banana skin or something.

Any win besides a robbery is legit. Injuries are part of the game and the healthiest survive like in any sport.

Doesn't matter who is better. Only thing that matters is what happened.

All credit goes to Bellew. He won, technically, no matter what. Bellew admitting that his win wasn't spectacular is another thing..

he was "edging it" that's all.

And no, there was no injury from the opening bell, he looked exactly the same in his last 2 fights.
