Looking at the first round I think Haye really thought he could stroll in there and KO Bellew. That as much as the Achilles is why he was so wild at the start

All this talk of "he took Hayes power" everytime Haye landed from round 1 - 5, Tony wobbled

Classy of Haye not to blame his loss on his injured leg. (Maybe it was because the "pinky toe" excuse got him so much derision). Bellew admitted he wasn't sure how many more power shots he could take from Haye.

Maybe tomorrow there will be more definitive information on whether it was a sprain, or some serious tendon problem. I think Wilder fought with a tendon in his wrist that got damaged after some early rounds.
