Do clean punches to the body have the same value as the punches to the head in terms of points?

Of course, it is just that they are missed a lot of times and not as easily seen as head shots.

In my opinion no. A good headshot will always outweigh a good body shot.

Its a landed punch so the value should be the same but when someones head snaps back from a jab or right hand it "oohs and ahhs" the judges and fans. It just looks better to the eye but IMO the value is even.

it depends, jabs many times are only used to keep distance and barely touch the opponents face, body punches are power punches most of the time... but you can also have weak body punches and strong punches to the head...

All I know is you can throw a million clean body shots on Floyd but 1 jab from him will count more and win him the round, that's a fact.
