Why won't he make it a street fight and fight Jacobs like he did Monroe, Brook, Wade, etc?

Maybe because he knew they couldn't punch worth a damn and were sub par at that weight.

I feel like on paper this could be a great fight as technically I feel like dj is just as sound as ggg. I feel like both have power but ggg is far more confident in his than Danny. I can see Danny outboxing ggg for a while tho and if he lasts I can see him winning a decision those are big ifs tho

Golovkin will adapt to whoever is in front of him. He did it with Lemieux. He took Brook for granted a bit and got hit. Once Golovkin decided to stop playing with him he got serious and ended the fight. Stevens used to be a light heavyweight and caught Golovkin cleanly. Golovkin walked right through those shots and delivered a fight stopping beat down. These were all quality fighters. Jacobs could be his biggest test. All true boxing fans know the score and want to see a competitive fight. Hopefully Jacobs will provide that type of fight. IMO after Golovkin handled Lemieux I'm convinced there is no one in the MW division (that is willing to fight him) that can beat him. We'll see. May the best man win.
