He is very friendly with Hearn. I believe they're from the same neck of the woods too? - I wouldn't put too much stock in the titles of the videos. He's going to put the titles that are going to entice people to click and Haye is a bigger name. In general i think he's much closer with the Matchroom team and fighters than he is with Haye anyway.

The channel definitely isn't owned by Hearn or anything. Kugan and James also work for Warren/Box Nation. In some of their videos they use BoxNation microphones.

Kugan is also friends with Billy Joe Saunders away from boxing and they had known each other years and they actually are related some way, like one of Kugan's relatives married a relative of Saunders, something like that. So he's obviously going to have some emotional involvement there too.

I've no doubt they're biased in some ways. They spend a lot of time around fighters and promoters and have probably become more friendly with some over others. I don't see a problem with that, it's probably unavoidable but at least they're professional enough to remain impartial on camera, unlike Elie Sechback who comes across as a fanboy with a camera phone and just sucks certain peoples ****s and acts like a bitter ***** towards others.

He's very matey with him isn't he. So sometimes maybe bias creeps in. He does seem open to questioning him sometimes though.

I've actually never caught him on BoxNation though, so can't comment on his show on there.

Most of youtube is bias because they have alternative motives. Their job isn't to be right, insightful, or informative it's to get views. Bias gets views, favors, and interaction.

Just because they're the poor media doesn't make them not media. New media is no different than old media it just comes in a new package.

As mentioned previously both he and helder have a show on boxnation with frank warren. I cant see old fish eyes allowing them that platform if they were too much in bed with hearn.

Simple fact is young eddie utilises social media and ifl's youtube better than frank to appeal to the casual fan.

Haye is at his best when he plays the villain anyway i think. I hope he really plays that role when if Joshua fight happens because it's like getting blood out of a stone trying to get anything interesting or entertaining out of Joshua.
