Comments Thread For: Mayweather: I Did My Part on McGregor, Now Up To The UFC

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has told Conor McGregor to get a move on if he wants to fight him. McGregor, the reigning UFC lightweight king, is currently taking a break from fighting to prepare for the birth of his first child, which is due to arrive in May. Ireland's first UFC belt holder is using his down time to pursue a boxing match with Mayweather.

The question is will Dana and the UFC accept McGregor receiving a fraction of what Floyd gets? This event would probably get more ppv buys than any UFC event ever has. And it only needs to be split two ways. Floyd get a guaranteed $30 million to Connor's $10-15 million and then each a percentage of ppvs. That is how much Mayweather makes. He's not coming out of retirement for less than he's made in the last decade.

How much does Connor keep and how much does White and the UFC keep. They have to split half of what Floyd makes and Floyd doesn't have to share with anyone. I don't know if Dana is man enough to accept splitting half of what Floyd gets, for what would be the easiest fight Floyd has had in decades.

I'd be surprised if Floyd would come out of retirement for a guarantee of only $30m, especially in an event this size.

      It will be much higher.

lol chump change, ripping off McGregor for peanuts. You got to be kidding me Floyd.

Floyd vs Berto = Floyd poor ppv sales

FLoyd vs Conor = at least half of Pacquiao/Floyd PPV numbers

What you offered to McGregor is an insult in itself lol

Without Gregor, FLoyd, you suck at PPV.

Floyd couldnt make 250K in PPV sells right now. Is only hope for a big payday is McGregor or Manny.

Maybe Maybe Ronda Rousy would be a good fight for Floyd as well.

He's right, he's said he'd do it. But Conor's contract has a big NO written all over it. Not to mention Dana would have to watch his cash cow get schooled for every round it would be allowed to go on. McGregor isn't even a B level boxer (he has KO power, but he's not a boxer). Everyone knows this.

If I recall it's Manny who's been begging for the rematch?
You're just mad that Pacquiao is a slave and has to do what his master Arum says. He'll be fighting for Arum until he pays off all his taxes to America. Oh yea he owes millions in Phillipines also. He'll be fighting until he's 60

Another cherry pick by Mayweather, no surprise here.

OK name all the fighters with better resumes than Mayweather over the past decade. Cherry picker though.
