Keith Thurman, opponent of Danny Garcia for the unified welterweight championship, hoping that it generates good ratings, interest and is promoted suitably so must be billed as two fighters in as close a 50/50 as possible, states that two gift decisions given to his opponent were clear wins?

        Never?!?!?! are you sure?!?!?!

Sorry, but it'll take more than someone as heavily involved and reliant on the successful promotion of this fight as Keith Thurman to convince me Danny didnt get the better end of some dubious decisions.

That being said.. Thurman, close decision.

I thought DSG edged both of them.

With that said Thurman is not dumb like most other boxers who say things impulsively, it's in Thurman's interest to be the first to clearly beat DSG.

What DSG said about Thurman that he's the "4th or 5th best boxer" he's ever faced was ****** and not the way to promote your possible win. Especially since most fans see it as a blatant lie.

Thurman, being much smarter, is actually promoting DSG here so that if he wins he beat an undefeated fighter.

Herrera won but Peterson didn't. He just gave away too many rounds, had he fought the way he closed the show he may have pulled it off

people cry about robberies too easily when a fighter they like loses or a fighter (or trainer) they dislike wins. both fights were close that could have gone either way but in no way were either robberies. herrera had his moments with his jab, but danny threw all the power punches. peterson beat danny up the second half of their fight but danny had him running around that whole first half.

I had Peterson Garcia a draw...but by the end of the fight Peterson had put much more of a beating on Garcia in them final 6 rounds...Garcia won the first few rounds on activity whilst Peterson tired him out.

Herrera didn't get robbed. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. I had DSG edging it out.

Saying Herrera got robbed is revisionist history and actually over-dramatic for a fight so close it could have gone either way

LPete fight was competitive but I had DSG winning clearly.

And I don't even like Garcia or his racist ignorant dad, and hope he gets One-Timed this weekend.

I just dislike revisionist history and over-dramatizing close fights as robberies even more.
