I hope it was not intended that way.Comment

LOL @ Smokin' bringing up his list of "Worthy champions" and saying Floyd fights nobodies.Originally posted by Smokin'LOL @ Parody not calling Ray Mancini a "good fighter" but rather a "brave" fighter. So have you seen his fights against Arguello (HOF), Chacon (HOF), and Ramirez (HOF)?
He was a brave fighter to his creditComment

...Alot of people consider someone like Judah definately "worth a damn"
You could see that he was giving mayweather ALOT of problems, its just that moronic loss to baldomir crushed all his stock.Comment

I don't mean to get in the middle of this but I just wanted to clarify something. Hopkins has not been starving himself to make middle. Actually, he came into the DHL fight weighing 155 or 156. A man starving himself to make the weight would never be able to go that low. It is not uncommon for Hops to come in 1 or 2 pounds under 160. At the time of his prime, Mosely was not really starving himself either as it is common knowledge that he would confortably make 135. He bulked up to 147 nicely, but he was a very solid, but confortable 135-pound fighter. James Toney; that's another story...Originally posted by ferocitybernard hopkins was a light heavyweight starving himself to make middleweight.
shane mosley was a jr. welterweight starving himself to make lightweight
james toney was a middlweight.....ah, nevermind
the list goes on, since you attack margarito who is confortable at welterweight, why not attack floyd who could have moved up in weight a long time ago....
their was even a time where floyd said, after his fight with rios, that he will make 25 jr. lightweight title defencs, LOL, what happened floyd, couldn't keep starving yourself to make weight, LOL
Oh... Also, on "The Scene" audio show, we've been saying that Margarito does have the style to beat Mayweather. He is an 147-pound version of Jose Luis Castillo and Floyd definately does not want any part of that monster again.Comment

If I was Castillo I would be insulted if someone compared me to Margarito. Margarito aint no Castillo and thats fact. Castillo does everything better than Margarito and is more Technically sound. Also Castillo is proven in the ring against A level fighters. Marg has fought nobodies and prospects. 147lb Version of Castillo my ass. Margs slow hand speed, wide punches and lack of defense is going to reduce him to a punchers chance in this fight.Originally posted by Sergio MtzI don't mean to get in the middle of this but I just wanted to clarify something. the second paragraph i aggree, but not about your comments about mosley and hopkinsOriginally posted by Sergio MtzI don't mean to get in the middle of this but I just wanted to clarify something. hopkins as i said lost at light heavy then dropped to middleweight. having succes didn't come easy even as a champion so of course he's going to be their for as long as he can while toney and jones jr. were at super middleweight. only reason hopkins was able to make middleweight is because his is a nutrition, workout freak, or plain and simple he has great dedication and a great drive for him to always stay in shape and this is how he was able to stay at middlweight cause exercising wasn't just part of his boxing career but part of his life which allowed him to stay at middleweight, trust me, hopkins is going to look great at light heavyweight, well maybe not the greatest he is older but he will perform better in the ring.
as for mosley i remember him saying he didn't want to stay at that weight for long cause he was having difficult time making weight, its a fact that mosley fought at 139 in the amatures then starved himself, i remember mosley saying this. all you got to do is look at some of his performances at 135, when he won the title first few rounds he looked great then the second part of the fight he looked like ****, his power wasn't their cause he was weakening himself making weight.Comment
