Which nation have the best boxing fans?

which country has the most loyal & loud fans. Personally I'd say British fans are the best closely followed by the Mexicans

You'd need to define Loyal. Casual UK fans are not "loyal". Hardcore fans are as loyal as hardcores from anywhere else...its a requisite of being sa hardcore fan, the knowledge of knowing an "0" doesnt count for everything.

Loud fans.. I'd say currently the Party atmosphere at UK boxing events where its treated as a big night out absolutely smashes the current scene of the USA where it seems to be a case of turning up for the two main fights, sitting eating popcorn and making barely any noise unless there is something of high interest in the fight.

Best atmospheres Ive seen in boxing events have been some of the Nas fights, the Eubank -Benn fight at old trafford and more recently some of the 02 arena matchroom cards.

I'm talking about loyalty amongst the main fanbase of fighters from particular countries. So you can assume the majority are casuals. For example, Ricky Hatton had a very loyal fanbase as did Frank Bruno etc.

        brits are fairweather/ fickle fans

boxing is trendy there nowadays, because they have several champs currently, so boxing's getting a lot of media hype

most of them brit fans will stop caring once the media hype stops.

when they dont have any champs, barely anyone cares about boxing there

but yeah, once they manage to get the casuals on board, Brits are an extremely loud and ¨passionate¨ fanbase. Sometimes you can even forget most of them are posers

I'd say the most fickle fans are US fans. For Ricky Hatton's come back fight (which he shouldn't have done) he had a great following, no matter win loss or draw British fighters are still cheered and respected. There are the obvious fighters who don't get this support like Khan, but that's due to him being a an idiot.
