Comments Thread For: Jacobs' Trainer: Jacobs Has More One-Punch KO Power Than Golovkin

Daniel Jacobs' trainer obviously respects Gennady Golovkin's power. Andre Rozier just doesn't think Golovkin possesses one-punch knockout power. In fact, Rozier believes Jacobs actually is more of a one-punch knockout artist than Golovkin, who has knocked out 92 percent of his opponents.

Glovokin has a better Chin than Jacobs, GGG has never hit the canvas in 400 Amateur bouts and never hit the floor as a pro so Danny will not knock him out it will be Danny who's knock out

LMAO, they're setting themselves up for a big fall . The more and more they come out with this stuff it's just digging them deeper and deeper & when Danny get's Ko'd his career will go down the pan.

The posturing is getting ridiculous now. Be glad when this one is over.

On another hand, Jacobs developed a habit of being dropped... Pirog "shifted" just once and KOd Jacobs -- and GGG is also "shifting"...

Power isn't Jacobs problem even if you concede him more power then GGG it's his glass jaw that will do him in. Jacobs went down from light punching Sergio mora SMH

I agree with Rozier here. Who in the pros have 3G fought with as much pop on his shots. Stevens I suppose. Maybe Lemeiux. To me, Jacobs has the more sophisticated way of delivering the power. He has the amateur experience. He has the size, power and speed.
I agree, Golovkin is the favorite here. Don't sleep on Danny man. He has the tools to do the job.

                i really don't think that's true.

GGG has 5 one punch KO's at the championship level. (rubio, macklin, ishida, geal and simon)

how many one punch KO's does Jacobs have?

I'm hoping for a competitive fight, but I'm just not sold on Jacobs. DJ's got power and speed but I think he'll pay for the lack of quality opponents on his resume.
Jacobs team fed him easy fights up to Pirog and did the same after his comeback from cancer. A couple of wins against quality opponents like Sanders or Lemieux would have helped Jacobs but they were risky fights.
On the 18th Jacobs steps up and shows if he's the real deal and if he can deliver against an elite opponent.

the topic is power but why is everyone talking about chins? they both have power, the trainer is making a case that Jacobs has more.
