I am a Kell Brook fan. And you're rattling my cage with this bait, you facking cant! But the truth is, a lot will become clearer in his next fight against Errol Spence, Jr. A decisive victory against a dangerous opponent will dispell any doubts raised by the Gennady Golovkin fight. A loss or a controversial result will prove a lot of the doubters are talking sense.

Brook didn't quit? His trainer threw the towel in.

It was a great move by the trainer too - him and Brook have like a father/son relationship.

That was a fight that never should have happened anyway, but the fact Brook took it and made it a fairly competitive fight for the first 3-4 rounds improves Brook's standing, IMO.

He had a broken jaw, or orbital? Something like that, and his trainer would have been careless to let him continue.

He proved his mettle against one of, if not the best pound for pound fighter on the planet who was two weight classes above him.

I don't know where the hell this thread is coming from.

Here you go again bashing another fighter that you and Khan don't fancy. Am not even a Brook fan but I do think he should be given some credit for stepping into the ring with GGG, money grab or not, some credit for taking the Spence fight, though he had no where else to go. He could have vacated the title. We haven't seen much of him but the eye test tells you he is far better than Khan and probably KO Khan if they ever meet. So the better question is, who does Khan get KO'ed against next? While you are at it, think about this, when was the last time we would have seen a so-called great fighter Ko'ed back (Canelo) to back (possibly Pac) to back (possibly Brook)? Since you like hypothetical, think about that and give the forum some answers.

Brook backs up to the ropes and lets GGG pound on him, knowing that his team will throw in the the towel to prevent him from taking more punishment, and also "saving face" as the masses would overlook the subtleties of the situation.

Brook quit against GGG, let's not get it twisted. We can consider this guy to be Victor Ortiz 2.0 of the 147 division and beyond at this point.

The only questions remaining.. Who does Kell Brook quit against next? Is Spence the man who makes Brook quit yet again? And thinking long term, throughout his career, how many fights will Brook quit in collectively when it's all said and done?

Who do you think sparks out Amir Khan next?

          A.) A gust of wind?

          B.) A semi-potent fart?

C.) Anybody with a decent punch at 147 and above?

          D.) All the above

I reckon his wife knocks him out if he chooses his families side the next time they argue over instagram.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brook pulls out of the fight against Spence with an "injury". I also think if spence is smart and targets the eye that was broken against GGG, then there is a chance Brook will throw the towel in again.

Probably Roy Jones comment to Max at the end of the 4th "Brook giving up"

Quitting is what Walters did against Lomachenko. Brook had taken some hard shots, had a broken bone in his face, and was taking more punishment from quite possibly the p4p hardest puncher in the game, when his towel threw the towel in. That's not exactly quitting. I wonder how many of these guys claiming Brook quit, would continue with a broken face

Hahah aye! Another great possibility. She's got some noodle arms, and lacks power, but as we know, plenty enough to separate Khan from his fragile senses.

If Brook didn't want the fight, he had a million excuses that would be acceptable - "I'm too heavy to make 147 now;" "My eye needs more time to recover;" "I've got a big money fight waiting."

Brook will fight Spence, and will most likely beat Spence.

Spence is COMPLETELY UNTESTED against world class boxers...

Brook stood up to GGG's punches. He'll be fine against Spence, and time a counter perfectly, and turn them lights out.
