Just like ward suddenly wanted to fight when ggg was signed to fight lemieux. The fight will likely never happen now with ward at 175...the only way it would have happened is if ward had come down to 164 or was still at 168 next year. I don't even know why it's still talked about.

People were talking about it? There wasn't much to it cuz ward was inactive. People really started talking about it after floyd said he should fight ward before him...yourself included probably.

Floyd only said that last year didn't he? A Ward-Golovkin fight has been talked about for years you clown. Ward made his offer in 2015, but nobody talked about it until Mayweather said that though.

I've been on this board for a while you clown...and yes there weren't constant threads about it til the mayweather fanboys became involved. Show me your posts about it from 2013.

They were both on ESPN prior to all of that, and the fight was talked up on both occasions.

A lot of revisionist history from some of these guys. Alternative facts.

It worked out so well for brook. Why couldn't ward fight at a cw like so many other fighters have to make big fights? The easiest way to make the fight would have been ggg moving to 168, but he didn't...so why are we still talking about it.

I didn't say that nobody at all was talking about it, but i bet he wasn't. It certainly wasn't a major topic on here the way it has been for the last year or so.

GGG could have just moved up 8 pounds like he was willing to do for Froch and Chavez jr
