This is exactly the way it will play out. Jacobs will shoot his wad early and if it's ineffective Golovkin will punish him.

that is an overly-simplistic breakdown, the first few rounds should be interesting

      but, yea ^^

I like GGG's chin, jab and experience win out. I think experience is the real key here. As much crap as GGG has gotten for his quality of opposition he's faced nothing but hall of famers compared to Jacobs. Sergio Mora 2x? And he got dropped by him. I would have liked to see Jacobs in with someone like Hassan Ndam before he got in the ring with GGG. Oh well. I'll tell you what those. I am going to be really friggin nervous those first few rounds.

Ever heard of Peter Quillin? The same Peter Quillin that beat Hassan Ndam. The same Peter Quillin that got blown out of the Arena by Jacobs.

That doesn't mean anything. Quillin beat Ndam and Jacobs beat Quillin. So what. That doesn't mean anything. You take each fight as it comes. Besides, I am not saying Jacobs wouldn't have beaten Ndam. I am not saying he wouldn't have beaten Ndam in style. All I am saying is that I would have liked to see Jacobs in there with someone who doesn't stay down and would keep fighting hard all 12 rounds before getting him in there with GGG.

This is so funny. Who knows if Ndam gets caught by a shot and stays down ? No one can predict that. You comment is silly.

GGG might be the one getting punished.

And if they dont take the flat fee, $15million. He should fire his team again. For missing out on money he would t make in the rest of the entirety of his career. As he can make a careers worth of money I one night.

I think it's going to be crucial for Jacobs to land something big early on. The best way for him to win the fight is to at the very least discombobulate GGG's come-forward game plan.

The longer the fight goes the worse it gets for Jacobs.

I could see either guy ending the others night early if they really let their hands go and get fierce with it out of the gate.

I think Jacobs probably has to win in a stunning and unexpected fashion like he did with Quillin. I don't think he can weather the storm of GGG's steady pressure for 12 rounds.

No one can predict that. That's why they fight the fights. Maybe if Jacobs had fought N'dam he would have learned what it takes to win a hard 12 round fight instead of crying conspiracy.
