Funny, feels like the same exact time line Oscar has Canelo on for a fight with ggg.

DLH just pulled the breaks on Mayweather's and Connor's dumb attention-seeking media stunt. Thank you, Oscar.

Funny, strangely silent on the GGG front after a real offer is made.

At first I thought, yea they can make this fight. But now that everything keeps coming out about contracts and such, this fight will never be able to be made. Dana will c*ck block the sh *t out of it forever. As he should, unfortunately. That's his cash cow. By the time he's done with his contract, Mayweather would be something like 43 and Conor probably won't be as big of a draw.

DLH has always hated mayweather. Hes extra salty that mayweather dropped him before making 200 million vs Pacquaio and the idea of mayweather having yet another super bout without him making a penny enrages him.

DLH is also factually out of the loop.

"“It would be the same thing if a fighter went into the octagon. It would be an embarrassment for MMA."
                  - DLH unaware this has already happened, several times.

"De la Hoya added that if McGregor is intent on facing Mayweather he should first earn experience in the amateur ranks “Not only are there safety issues, but if McGregor gets in a boxing ring he’ll get outclassed easily. McGregor has never fought a boxer ever in his life."

                  - DLH unaware that mcgreggor boxed as a teen in the amateurs. DLH unaware that Connor has recently and currently is, training against boxers, in boxing rings and not octagons.

I agree it will be a mismatch but oscar is either completely out of the loop or just outright lying about facts because hes still salty.

Oscar please stop. I believe you brought that idea up sometime last year between McGregor and Canelo. You sound like a hypocrite.

Now the reality is Dana White will not allow this to happen. Reason being he's the UFC'S cash cow, and if McGregor makes let's say between 50 to 100 million then I highly doubt he returns to the UFC.
