I think he should fight Vanes Martirosyan next! That will tell us all we need to know. If he can beat Vanes, then he's ready for the shot! WBC has Vanes Martirosyan #3, and Erickson Lubin #4. Martirosyan vs. Lubin! Make it happen!

Don't look past Cota, I keep posting that because Cota is a live underdog, if he catches young Lubin clean he has the power to hurt him. But I like Lubin a lot, first seen him on Iron Mike Production undercard I think he was only 18 years old at that time but he stood out instantly.

He takes care of Cota then yeah Charlo has a problem but Charles Hatley won't be easy for Charlo either that is why I think 154 might be the best Division in boxing by the end of 2017 because it is so many fighters on the rise.

I want to see what Vanes is planning to do, now that he's not with Haymon:

              February 7, 2017:

Junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan got what he wanted, to become a promotional and managerial free agent.

The boxer revealed that he's free and clear of any contractual obligations to adviser Al Haymon or promoter Tom Brown of TGB Promotions. The split comes as no surprise, as Vanes was openly complaining about the direct of his career last October. He claimed Haymon and Brown were keeping him inactive and avoiding his phone calls.

“I want all my boxing fans to know that I’m not happy with my manager, Al Haymon, and my promoter, Tom Brown,” Martirosyan wrote on Twitter. “They are holding me back! I have too much respect for this bulls*t. They don’t wanna answer my calls, but they answer my tweets! Champs keep cherry picking around each other.”

Vanes has been out of the ring since last May, when he last a twelve round unanimous decision in his rematch with WBA champion Erislandy Lara. His two other career defeats - also by decision - came at the hands of current WBC champion Jermell Charlo in 2015 and former WBO champion Demetrius Andrade in 2013.

He got to fight Lara twice, Jermell Charlo, and Andrade, but that wasn't good enough! Let's see how his career plays out now!
