Yes, both have failings but neither is a "bum".

Bellew really is risking his health if he hasn't had random testing in place since the fight was signed.

I am not squeamish but hearing Haye saying he was practicing combos on a falling target so that he could potentially tee off on a falling and unconscious Bellew made me double take.

Haye made it sound like he was training for a snuff film not a boxing match.

Haye has sounded a bit mad that to be honest. I am a little worried for Bellew here, honestly. And Haye who I used to quite like has come across as a bit of a sociopath leading up to this fight.

This is a rubbish match and I hope Haye just levels him early and Bellew can go back down to cruiser with a few quid in his pocket. Although I really don't want to see a match like this again and I won't pay for it myself.

Sky need to get off this jumping up in weight nonsense straight into a massacre and especially not on PPV. Of course the fighters are gonna want it for the cash but if it is a lamb to the slaughter situation people even casuals won't continue to pay for that.

Haye for his part will likely emerge from this fight with people hoping to see him smashed to bits by Joshua.

I think this is the first time an opponent has genuinely got under Haye's skin. Bellew is poking at all of his insecurities (the shoulder, fighting cans, his family, money, questions over steroids) in a way others never did. If Haye's got anything left he'll still smash Bellew to bits but he's definitely rattled.
