arum and haymon work the same way. haymon gives his fighters a list of opponents to choose from. arum gives manny a list of opponents to choose from.

It's simple... Pac/Koncz went off and did their own negotiating because Arum wasn't willing to pay him his guarantee (20 million/per fight) his next fight.

It's most likely written in his contract.

Instead of accepting Bob's offer of 5 million... they went out looking for the best $$$ fight available.

While Bob had plans of touring Manny around the world fighting Australians, Russians, and other Euros for lesser amounts.
