154 if tough so it is going to be hard to remain champion for ALL ESPECIALLY if the Champions take on all comers

The negativity towards Hurd is BS though, I just think that was the Gameplan all along! Clearly they studied the Willie Nelson fight and knew Harrison didn't have the Tank nor did he have the Power to keep Hurd off of him so Pressure Burst Harrison Pipes once again

Hurd doesn't always fight like he did vs Harrison so if you expect him to fight like that vs others at 154 then you don't know **** about boxing. You don't fight every fighter the same way! Of course he wouldn't have fought a bigger Jermall Charlo that way obviously. But we shall see, 154 is so deep with talent that is is going to be hard for any of them to remain champion for all including Lara

        No negativity.... Just being honest

Idk if he will be able to compete with the top 3-5 guys and I think a few dominate him

        Decent young fighter though

Don't see anyone beating Lara at 154.

Yeah not impressed. Harrison is such a frustrating guy to watch though. Can't believe he let that one get away.

We will find out eventually, based on IBF Rankings he will have time to get better before a real threat work their way up to challenge him for his title

Harrison is a very talented boxer. Similar to the Nelson fight, he was outboxing Hurd. But, the Nelson stoppage was more complerely out of nowhere. Here, Hurd started to turn the fight around by the 5th round or so. He was pressuring Harrison, and it culminated in the stoppage.

I guess I agree that Hurd is a solid titleholder, but isn't elite. He's not the most skilled boxer, but he's big and strong, and looks like he can be relentless. That's enough to take you pretty far, even defending the title several times.

Like some of you all point out, Jr. Middle has so MANY TALENTED YOUNG DUDES, and I agree that the top 3-4 dudes are probably better than him. Andrade & Lara probably outbox him, & the remaining Charlo probably KOs him. But these would all be interesting fights where Hurd would compete (the better Charlo woulda annihilated him, however)

But, if Hurd is "carefully managed", he can keep his title for awhile, he can beat a lot of Jr. Middles. Im always happy to see young boxers achieve.

I don't think he's good at all compared to Lara or Andrade.. The smaller Charlo who knows, he was getting outfoxed badly by Jackson so I guess he's not that great either maybe.

Hurd was lost in there until Harrison got tired and his glass jaw took over.
