    Sports if steroids were legal

I don't know if I'm the only one but is nobody else interested in what sports would be like if it was legal to use an substance you want.

Imagine what the world records would look like in athletics!

Do you think it would change boxing a lot or not? (seen as everyone seems to be on roids according to this forum).

I think it would look pretty similar to what it is. The local MMA guys at my gym are all on growth hormone and they barely get any money for the kind of stuff they do. Imagine what's really going on in the elite levels of sport.

It will be a dream for strength based sports... For weightlifters for example... All possible records would have fallen...

Yeah i'm sure most professional fighters are on some sort of performance enhancing drugs. Pretty sure Tyson admitted top being on them & said that other heavyweights were on them too. (don't quote me on that, pretty sure I read it somewhere though).

It would look pretty much the same as it already does now. Legal or not, PEDs are extremely prevalent in boxing (as well as practically every other sport) these days.

I seem to remember that too, think it was he's defence team when he was on trial put his aggression down to steroids. Razor Ruddock wanted him tested. It's sad but true, if the low level guys are juiced up it makes sense the top guys are since the tests are apparently a joke.

But not when you consider the guys who could afford it would be on stacks of stuff. The guy holding down an average job wouldnt be able to compete. It would end up the guy who has the best chemist being Champ.

i don't know if i'd call testing a joke as much as i'd call it ineveitably behind the design of the new drugs. it would take a long time and a lot of testing and funding to develop a test for a new drug to the level that you'd be able to sanction a multi million dollar athlete.
