If Joshua wants to practice being hurt, they can have him practice a drill, repeatedly, where he has to quickly duck under a punch and then jump in to hold. Practice that 1000 times when you're not hurt, and when you do get hurt, it will be ingrained and you'll still remember how to do it as best you can, depending on how hurt you are. But that's the best and only way to practice being hurt without actually getting hurt and shortening your shelf life in the sport, as well as potentially denting your chin for future fights, depending on who you are. What he's talking about is absurd though.
