Brook Beating Spence Will Be a Great Win

Not spectacular but great. He's a rising star who has impressive punching power and a growing fanbase. To stop him in his tracks is impressive.

It's funny how Brook was slated for not announcing this fight and how he's scared of Spence, but now all of a sudden Spence is a nobody after the fight is announced. Double standards when it comes to Brook. Probably the most underrated boxer in today's era.

At first, Brook said Spence wasn't worth his time. So, which is it?

If he goes in there and knocks him out in 3 is it a great win or is Spence another hype job ? I don't expect that to happen but you never know

That's just trash talk before negotioations/fight dates. He probably thought he'd have a more lucrative fight with glass chinned time wasting Khan. Also, you keep mentioning that whenever this fight is mentioned, like we're in court. Boxers say all sorts of things.

What are you saying? He has to win by KO for it to be impressive? A decision would be alright too.

Spence is Brooks mandatory but an untested young fighter, why should it be a "great" win for the welterweight champ?
If the kid beats him it's a great win because Spence hasn't fought anyone on Brooks level.
I think it's a good fight, their similar in size and both have good power.

You honestly think it will be viewed as a great win?

It'll be lucky to be called a good win after the excuses of being weight drained/damaged by Golovkin start rolling out.

So, Brook has no integrity? Ok, got it.

It would be a great win for Spence but just a 'good' win for Brook. If that makes sense for anyone.

Which is why i'm so against the fight.

Weight drained excuse: Very possible, he just bulked up to 160. Very different than what Spence is talking about that he walks around 170. Brook bulked up muscles to make 160, and burned fat.

Damaged by GGG: He had his orbital bone broken and had surgery. So yeah, he was pretty damaged by GGG.

Bottom line: This was bad timing by Brook/Hearn. They should've fought a softer opponent before Spence.
