I'm putting $200 on Jacobs. Got my tickets to the fight, I'll be there

Your boy ain't won yet and I don't think he will.
Please explain this logic to me. DJ is getting "hyped up", yet you think DJ is going to win? Is he being hyped up to seem better than he is, or is he actually better than GGG?

GGG fans are hyping up Jacobs because they think when GGG will beat him it will appear as a huge win for GGG.

This is because GGG's resume is ****.

Thats not exactly how betting works.

GGG is -900 (or $900 on GGG wins $100 so you'd get $1,000 back) & Jacobs is +600 (or $100 on Jacobs wins $600 so you'd get $700 back or in Chollo's case $1,400 back-assuming he bet at these odds that have largely been consistent since the fight was announced).

For sure this is a dog or pass betting situation GGG is so heavily favored so I doubt you'll get many takers on equaling your loyalty on Jacobs by betting the same $200 to win ~$22 on GGG Chollo.

This I would understand if you thought Jacobs was a bum that was going to get sparked. But you think Jacobs is going to win, which indicates to me that you feel he is the better boxer of the two. I'm just confused that you think he's better, bit think he's being propped up at the same time.

Forget what I think of the outcome.
I'm talking about what the GGG fans are doing. They are hyping up DJ because GGG gets a lot of stick for his resume so finally GGG can have a big win on his resume.

OK, I'm with you now. The other poster is just hyping DJ up without really believing he's such a threat to GGG.

Good luck. I'm concerned about Jacobs tendency to square up and get caught out of position on the ropes. I see more flaws that Gennady can capitalize on than Jacobs. But that's why they settle it in the ring. If you win, go on and book that vacation

This guy will just quit the forum if he loses anyways.

If I was confident in Jacobs I would bet this one early.

I am not though. He will get blown out.

How can Jacobs survive, he's so chinny? He'd have to go in there mentally prepared to take GGG's shots and give him some of his own, but harder and faster, and be more active than GGG. That's a lot of things to do. His recovery rate also better be on point, because if GGG catches him it will hurt and he will have to put the hurt past him quickly if he wants a chance to win. Who ever win, this fight will certainly not go 12, unless Jacobs throws us all off and goes in there to try to outbox to just survive 12 rounds with GGG to say he did it.
