Idiots like you are why GGG is wasting his career away pushing 40 turning down big offers. You think this fool is a star when he isn't.Comment

220K? LOL Ok then GGG drew 97k since we using bogus sources. So double what GGG did in a fight against a unknown fighter that had never appeared on US soil or on american tv. And still he got 50,000 fans to show up and doubled GGG's PPV which was billed as the biggest fight of his career. I love how you want to ignore Canelo fighting Cotto and drawing 900k or his fight before Smith that drew 600k. Or the fact that Floyd fought Canelo and it generated more PPV revenue then every other Floyd opponent expect Manny. Or the fact that Canelo/Chavez might do close to 1m ppvs while GGG is praying that his fight with Jacobs cracks 100k. Canelo is without question the biggest PPV star today and GGG needs him more then Canelo needs GGG.

If Chavez upsets Canelo and fights GGG it will be for a fraction of he money GGG turned down. That's the WORST case scenario for GGG. Which is why I laugh when his fans openly root for that not realizing you are rootintg against GGG's best interest. GGG will never see a 15m payday. And beating Chavez won't make GGG a star. don't believe me ask Sergio and Fonfara who already beat Chavez and their world didn't change. Sergio still had to play the B side role to Cotto and Fonfara was fighting on Spike LMAO
Only road to big bucks and cross over success for GGG leads through Canelo. Meanwhile if Canelo loses he can just rematch Chavez or rematch Cotto, go back down in weight and still make big money. Oscar, Tyson, Pacquaio, have proven Stars can lose fights and still get big paydays and remain big draws after that. Whereas if you not already one it's almost impossible to break through without fighting one.Comment

I just realized that by fighting Chavez above 160, Canelo keeps this "lineal" title in case of a loss... The question though - would anybody care about this "lineal" thing or Canelo himself after that. Probably just GGG hate trolls would remember about this.Comment

Now he's a good guy again & he's fighting that villainous pato rojo backed by the equally dastardly & deceiving Oscar de Coca.
It's unbelievable that some still refer to that offer as a "contract". When is the fight to take place exactly? It was said after the Smith fight that perhaps Sept '17, but GB still makes the Chavez fight at the next available date & even this past week DLH said that a rematch could push the GGG potential fight off. So, I ask again, when is that proposed fight for & who in the world could possibly sign for fight that has no firm date in place let alone work out the details for a split knowing there is an indefinite number of fights between then & now? It's just not a plausible scenario at all.
GGG is trying to make fights. GB & Nelo are trying to make money. You can still do both. History will catch up to them all & sort it out.Comment
