Comments Thread For: Chavez Still Wants To Fight Golovkin; 'I Think I Can Beat Him'

NEW YORK Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. turned down a fight against Gennady Golovkin in 2014. Nearly three years later, Chavez hasn't given up on the idea of facing the Kazakh knockout artist. If Chavez can upset fellow Mexican Canelo Alvarez in their May 6 fight in Las Vegas, he hopes Golovkin would move up to 168 pounds to fight him.

Lazy slow Chavez is a quitter and never sees 165lbs for Can or GGG

Chavez is a lazy plump soft binge eating nothing and a quitter. Chavez jr never makes the 165lbs for the can-yellow fight. Chavie will struggle to make 170lbs. GGG destroys the heartless ball-less quitter Chavez in a fight that never comes off. Can-yellow will have to fight Chavez at a higher weight but does it even matter as Chavez will still weigh 185lbs fight night. But a quitter never wins anyway. Chavez has no balls and no heart. Chavie jr. is just a binge eating mex laying around swilling tequila and smoking reefer. Si'

The ultimate karma would be if Chavez Jr wins this fight and then fights ggg while Canelo gets left out in the cold. Not likely but it would be great.

what are you so good at? that you put down a professional boxer like that you think you have the heart to do what he does?

That's what's most likely to happen believe it or not. Chavez Jr will beat Canelo, mark my words.

Chavez is less likely to beat GGG than he is to beat him off.

If Chavez upsets Canelo and fights GGG it will be for a fraction of he money GGG turned down. That's the WORST case scenario for GGG. Which is why I laugh when his fans openly root for that not realizing you are rootintg against GGG's best interest. GGG will never see a 15m payday. And beating Chavez won't make GGG a star. don't believe me ask Sergio and Fonfara who already beat Chavez and their world didn't change. Sergio still had to play the B side role to Cotto and Fonfara was fighting on Spike LMAO

Only road to big bucks and cross over success for GGG leads through Canelo. Meanwhile if Canelo loses he can just rematch Chavez or rematch Cotto, go back down in weight and still make big money. Oscar, Tyson, Pacquaio, have proven Stars can lose fights and still get big paydays and remain big draws after that. Whereas if you not already one it's almost impossible to break through without fighting one.
