I believe the interpreter, Jerry Olaya, got it wrong that time. What Canelo came up with was a Mexican slang or idiom. The interpreter is not Mexican and was not familiar with that slang. "Salir con mamadas" is closer to "Come up with bulls**t or ******ities" than "Not f**k around." FYI for those of you who are interested, what Olaya and others do is to interpret what the boxers say. They don't translate.
