Lol, he's already a laughing stock. What the Golovtards won't consider is that maybe he's unsure if he can beat Canelo at this juncture. With a proven track record of running from any real viable challenges, it's a real possibility.maybe not, but they are crying like little girls because GOLOVKIN refused an absolute fortune to fight Canelo
problem is, they are crying at Canelo LMAO
give it a rest dude, 15mil is an absolute fortune, and more than lil'G is worth
if Mr Businessman kills that fight by refusing 15mil, he will become a laughing stock..... even with you here valiantly defending him
Looking subpar against guys like Monroe and Kell Brook may make you think twice about a prime, strong and fast non-chinny fighter like Canelo.
One things for certain, him not accepting approx 5 times his biggest payday is inexplicable. Nevertheless the Golovtards will pull anything out their azz to try and explain it.Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 02-24-2017, 07:05 PM.Comment

Many of you are vastly over rating Canelo's earning ability. There won't be close to 100 mil in the pot for the fighters to split lol. Secondly, Golovkin's sole PPV went double plastic. He should take 15 mil. That's a fair offer. The Pac vs Mayweather fight ruined PPV viability, by turning out to be such a *****ty fight. You won't find as many people willing to spend that type of money on a PPV fight anymore. At this point I think GGG would take 15% over 15M. Think about that, if GBP offered GGG a 85/15 split, everybody including you would look at that and say WTF??? Maybe Hopkins took less but back then Heavyweights were the big earners. It's a different age in boxing and everybody has gotten smarter.
Yes taking a 15% is riskier than a flat fee 15M but they have smart business people on both sides and they're willing to gamble on the purse. Of course to many fans 15M sounds like winning the lottery so those ***** offers convince you. Do you see now that 25%, 30%, 35% or 40% is a much better deal for GGG? And the worse that Canelo could do is get 60M. So now please tell me who's running and ducking again??Comment

Which one is it? If we're vastly overrating the fight then why not offer GGG 70/30? If the fight only makes 50M that's GGG's same 15M. If it makes 100M than GGG gets 30M. Fair. No?Many of you are vastly over rating Canelo's earning ability. There won't be close to 100 mil in the pot for the fighters to split lol. Secondly, Golovkin's sole PPV went double plastic. Hey guy, do you work as financial advisor ? Do you know all the A's and B's in this boxing business? STFU Garbage man. GGG Team knows what he is worth and whats is a fair contract to sign.Lol, he's already a laughing stock. Not over rating the fight, over rating the fights earning potential. 15 mil would likely end up being more than 30 percent, so Golovkin should just take it. I'd be seriously surprised if Canelo pulled in more than 30 million. People aren't buying PPV's like they once did, with this current economy, and also the crappy Pac vs Mayweather fight.Comment

I am clearly talking about the fight's earning potential. That's my point exactly. I'm sure Tom Loeffler would accept a flat 30% much faster than 15M so based on what you're saying, that's a no brainer for GBP, offer them less by offering 30%. LOL you sound clueless. Not over rating the fight, over rating the fights earning potential. 15 mil would likely end up being more than 30 percent, so Golovkin should just take it. Damn, even less than I thought.
Wasn't that supposed to be his largest payday ever?
And it is now coming in at 3.25M?
Didn't Canelo earn 2 or 3 times that for that crappy fight with Beefy?Comment

Uhh, no. You don't seem to understand that Canelo is the A side. Mr. PPV double plastic(Golovkin) is the clear B side, and in no position to make demands. I'm saying that 15 mil isn't a low ball number for a B side fighter who so far in his career hasn't had a single purse that was a fifth of that. I'm also saying that, Golden Boy promoting the A side fighter, has no obligation to make any offer outside of what sounds good to them and their A side fighter. It doesn't matter if 15 mil would be more or less than 30 percent. It is what was offered. As the B side you live with it. It really won't matter anyway, because Jacobs is going to beat Golovkin's arse. lolComment
